How it works

Grade points (A = 4.0, A- = 3.7, B+ = 3.3, B = 3.0, B- = 2.7, C+ = 2.3, C = 2.0, C- = 1.7, D+ = 1.3, D = 1.0, D- = 0.7, F = 0) are multiplied by credits, summed and divided by total credits. Results are rounded to two decimals. This is an unweighted scale; honors and AP weighting is not included.

How is GPA calculated?

Each letter grade is converted to grade points (A = 4.0, B = 3.0 and so on), multiplied by the course credits, added up and divided by total credits.
