Your current grade counts for the rest of the course (100% minus the final's weight). The tool solves for the final exam score that makes the weighted total equal your target: (target − current × (1 − weight)) ÷ weight.
Required score = (target − current × (1 − weight)) ÷ weight. With a current grade of 80, a target of 85 and a final worth 25%, you need (85 − 80 × 0.75) ÷ 0.25 = 100.
Then the target cannot be reached on the final alone unless your course offers extra credit. Try a lower target.
